When disaster strikes, many companies are moved to help, but not all assistance has the desired impact. I work with corporations to create a situationally aware disaster response strategy before an incident occurs that takes the corporation’s strengths and resources into consideration.

How DoWell Works

Consultation

In order to understand your needs, goals, and how DoWell can help, we start with a 1 hour, no-cost, no-commitment meeting. From this meeting, Carmen will recommend next steps, resources required, and expected outputs.

Engagement

DoWell brings a motivating, interactive (dare I say fun), approach to each project that is tailored to the needs and goals of each organization or company.

Together, we will determine how best to gather information and engage the necessary stakeholders in a timeframe and format that best meets all parties’ needs.

Results

At the end of each engagement, you will receive documentation of the work done, recommendations of next steps, and other project-dependent outputs.

DoWell in Action

ValleyCAN had some big growth opportunities on the horizon and a number of new members on their Board of Directors. Carmen led a strategic planning process to increase organizational alignment and create clear action items to engage Board Members.
The Mobile Pathways team had a clear vision for the impact of technology in the immigration law space. Carmen worked with our team to ensure that organizational strategy informed their technology choices, while orchestrating a long-term business strategy to ensure the sustainability of their impact.
At Salesforce, Carmen designed and executed the Tech Grant Program, which facilitated the donation of additional technology to nonprofit organizations. In this role, Carmen acted as a grant manager, nonprofit consultant, and technologist serving over 200 organizations throughout her tenure. She also developed strategies and partnered with international organizations to respond to disasters and other global events, such as the immigration crisis, school shootings, natural disasters, and the war on Ukraine..
